At Toddlers Home Study Hall, our team consists of qualified and experienced educators who are passionate about child development. We focus on creating a nurturing environment where every child feels valued and encouraged to learn.
With over 18 years of experience working with young children, Ms. Gill is a passionate and dedicated early childhood educator. She is deeply committed to nurturing each child's growth through proven learning techniques.
Ms. Gill is also proud to support families and help communities raise confident, happy, and well-rounded children.
Our child care philosophy is rooted in the belief that young children learn best through play, exploration, and meaningful relationships. We are committed to creating a nurturing and inclusive environment that supports each child’s holistic development, in alignment with the principles of British Columbia’s Early Learning Framework.
Play-Based Learning
We recognize play as a vital component of early childhood development. Through play, children actively explore their environment, express creativity, and develop essential cognitive, physical, emotional, and social skills. Our commitment to play-based learning ensures that each child learns in a way that is engaging, meaningful, and developmentally appropriate.
Individualized Development
We recognize that every child is unique. Our approach is thoughtfully tailored to support each child’s individual needs, strengths, and interests—fostering their growth in a nurturing and supportive environment.
Inclusive Environment
We strive to create a welcoming space where every child feels valued and included. Our practices promote diversity, equity, and a sense of belonging for all children and families.
Family Engagement
We believe in building strong, respectful partnerships with families. Through open communication and collaboration, we work together to support each child’s well-being, learning, and development.
Our philosophy is inspired by educational approaches such as Reggio Emilia, which emphasize child-led exploration, collaboration, and the powerful role of the environment in learning. By viewing children as capable and curious individuals, we create rich, engaging spaces that support inquiry, creativity, and meaningful connections.
At Toddlers Home Study Hall, our mission is to provide safe and nurturing child care services that promote child development and growth. We strive to create a warm and welcoming environment where children can learn and play.
Our staff members are highly trained and dedicated professionals who are passionate about working with children. They undergo rigorous background checks and are certified in CPR and first aid.
We offer a range of programs tailored to the needs of children at different developmental stages.
Our “Study Hall” style offers a variety of enriching activities designed to support early development in a calm and engaging environment. These include Storytime and Baby Sign Language, Music, Movement, and Tummy Time, Gentle Circle Time for toddlers, Fine and Gross Motor Play, and early routines that help build independence. Each activity is thoughtfully planned to nurture children's growth and foster a love for learning from the very beginning.
